The scent of porcini returns to Cortona: three evenings of flavor and music

The Cortona summer welcomes one of the most anticipated events for lovers of local food traditions. From Friday, August 7 to Sunday, August 9, 2026, the 36th Sagra del Fungo Porcino returns, held at the Impianto Sportivo Val di Loreto, in Tavarnelle di Cortona. For three evenings, starting at dinner time, the star of the show will be the porcini mushroom, a symbol ingredient of Tuscan cuisine, served in numerous traditional recipes. Alongside local flavors there will be live music and dance nights, in an authentic, convivial atmosphere.
