The Aroma of Porcini Returns to Cortona: Three Evenings of Great Food and Live Music
From 7 to 9 August 2026, the 36th Porcini Mushroom Festival celebrates Tuscan cuisine, local traditions and live entertainment.
Summer in the Cortona area welcomes back one of its most popular food festivals. From Friday 7 to Sunday 9 August 2026, the 36th Porcini Mushroom Festival will take place at the Val di Loreto Sports Centre in Tavarnelle, just a few minutes from Cortona.
Each evening, starting at dinner time, visitors can enjoy a variety of traditional Tuscan dishes featuring the prized porcini mushroom, one of the region's most celebrated seasonal ingredients. Live music and dancing will accompany the festival, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Dance evening with Luca Conti and his accordion.
Saturday, 8 August
Dance evening with the Etrusco Sound Orchestra.
Sunday, 9 August
Dance evening with Annesa and Roby.
Location: Val di Loreto Sports Centre, Tavarnelle, Cortona.
The festival venue offers ample parking, making it easy to reach by car. A takeaway service will also be available throughout the event.
The sports centre bar will remain open independently of the festival, providing the perfect place to enjoy a coffee, an aperitif or a relaxing break with friends.
