Motors roar in Cortona: Motopiccio Treffen 2026 turns Tavernelle into a Western movie set

On September 5 and 6, 2026, the Motopiccio Treffen – Old Style Fest returns to Tavernelle di Cortona, the gathering dedicated to motorcycle enthusiasts, vintage American cars, military vehicles and motoring culture. This new edition, Wild West themed, offers two days of celebration open not only to motor enthusiasts, but also to families, groups of friends and anyone curious to experience a one-of-a-kind event in the Cortona area.

Motors, shows and entertainment

The program includes rallies, parades, scenic tours and countless chances to admire motorcycles, American classic cars and military vehicles. Over the two days there will be shows, games, performers, entertainment and a market, along with exhibition areas and spaces dedicated to bringing together participants, associations and enthusiasts. The event features large covered spaces, so activities can go ahead even in case of bad weather.

Live music and DJ sets

Music accompanies the entire weekend with live concerts and DJ sets. On stage: Argonauti, with a funky, pop and rock repertoire, and The Shakers, ready to get the crowd going with their rock'n'roll energy — a lively, laid-back atmosphere for the whole gathering.

Tuscan flavors, food and drink

Motopiccio Treffen is also a chance to discover local flavors: the food stand offers traditional dishes, with a special focus on pici pasta and Sangiovese wine. Bar service, breakfast, sandwiches, drinks and street food are also available. Sunday's pici lunch requires advance booking by September 1, as spots are limited.

An event open to everyone

The initiative brings together bikers, collectors, families and the simply curious in a welcoming setting to share a passion for motors, music and good company. Admission is free, and a free camping area is available. Part of the proceeds will go to charity.
